Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of The Dark Side of the Moon.

On March 1st, 1973, Pink Floyd released their eighth album. The Dark Side of the Moon would become one of the top-selling albums of all time with over 50 Million copies worldwide, and with record-setting stays on the Billboard chart. With this collaboration, we showcase the album artwork and celebrate 50 years of The Dark Side of the Moon.

The Icelantic x Pink Floyd Nomad 105 features George Hardie and British design group Hipgnosis’ original sketches on the tails, and the now iconic prism/color beam image on the tips. Our Design Director has re-imagined the beams to reflect off the edges of the skis and cascade toward each other, creating a relationship between concept and final artwork.

We’re stoked to have worked with Perryscope Productions to license and collaborate on this iconic event.
